Nowadays, its power industry is facing an average growth of 5% (in energy demands) a year which calls for building annually 5,000 megawatts of additional power generation capacity at minimum. With the international sanctions lifted on Iran, also with the strong desire to cooperate with foreign companies in power sector, it is time that both local and international players shall join hands to tackle the challenges ahead of the industry.
